Collection of 13 unrelated manuscript legal documents concerning activities and transactions of the legal authorities of New Spain and the Catholic missions located throughout Baja and Alta California. They include viceregal notes to religious authorities regarding the missionaries, receipts for payments, disbursements from the Pious Fund, a legal dispute, shipments of goods, and a marriage dispensation, etc. Most are signed by various parties of the agreement or note.
